The problem

Too much to keep by the bed, not enough drawers

What it changes for you

One drawer fills up in a week. This bamboo chest gives you three, so chargers, medicines, books and spare glasses each get their own place. The top keeps a low raised rim on three sides, which stops a phone or a pen sliding off behind the bed.

Perfect for…

  • Anyone who keeps a lot by the bed
  • Natural, warm interiors with wood and linen
  • Children's and guest rooms that need simple storage
  • Pairs on each side of a double bed
Three drawers, three jobs

01

Three drawers, three jobs

Three equal drawers let you sort instead of pile: night-time essentials at the top, books in the middle, cables, medicines or pyjamas at the bottom.

Each opens with an oval cut-out finger pull, so there is no knob to catch your hand or the duvet when you reach across in the dark. Sorting takes seconds, even half asleep.

A rim that stops the slide

02

A rim that stops the slide

The top keeps a low raised rim along the back and both sides, so your phone, your glasses or a pen stay on the table instead of slipping behind the bed.

The front edge stays open, which keeps the top easy to reach and to wipe, with room for a lamp, a glass of water and a book. It is a small detail you notice every night.

Warm honey bamboo

03

Warm honey bamboo

The bamboo is left with its grain showing and a warm honey tone, which sits easily with linen bedding, cream walls and natural rugs.

Slim square corner posts run down to four short feet that lift the chest off the floor and keep it steady on boards, rugs or carpet. No two pieces have quite the same grain.
