The problem

A bedside table that feels flat and impersonal

What it changes for you

A plain white box does the job but adds nothing to the room. This table pairs a soft cream body with a thick walnut-tone top and two round wooden knobs, small warm details that make the bedside feel finished and cared for.

Perfect for…

  • Cream, beige and walnut bedrooms
  • Mattresses about 45 to 55 cm from the floor
  • Anyone who likes a simple knob to grab
  • Mid-century and warm modern interiors
Round wooden knobs

01

Round wooden knobs

Each wide drawer has one round wooden knob in the centre of its cream front, easy to find and to grip even half asleep.

The warm wood of the knobs echoes the walnut-tone top, tying the whole piece together with two small, simple details, and they give the cream front a friendly, slightly retro character.

A thick walnut-tone top

02

A thick walnut-tone top

A thick walnut-tone board with rounded edges sits slightly proud of the cream body, adding warmth and a crisp line of shadow.

It gives you a solid surface for a lamp, a book and a glass of water, and stands out nicely against linen bedding, and the rounded edges keep it soft to the touch when you reach over in the dark.

Will it suit your bed?

03

Will it suit your bed?

The table is 40 cm deep and 50 cm high, so its top sits level with most standard mattresses and lower divan beds.

Aim for a table within about 5 cm of your mattress height, and measure the gap beside your bed before you order, leaving a few centimetres free so the duvet hangs easily and the drawers open fully.
