The problem

A bedside table with no character

What it changes for you

Most bedside tables are a plain box with two handles. This one has a little more to say: the top drawer front is vertically fluted, the lower one shows the straight walnut grain, and each is opened by a small green clover-shaped knob with a fine gold rim. Quiet, but never boring.

Perfect for…

  • Dark wood, heritage and warm modern bedrooms
  • Anyone who likes texture and small, crafted details
  • Beds with walnut or dark wood frames
  • Couples wanting a matching pair
Fluted above, smooth below

01

Fluted above, smooth below

The top drawer front is vertically fluted, its fine reeds catching the lamplight, while the lower front stays flat to show the straight walnut grain.

Two textures on one small piece give it depth and character without any added ornament, while the two drawers keep your bedside things tidy and out of sight.

Little green clover knobs

02

Little green clover knobs

Each drawer opens with one small knob shaped like a four-leaf clover, in green with a thin gold rim, the only touch of colour on the walnut.

Easy to find by touch at night, they add a crafted, personal detail that sets this table apart from the usual plain metal handles and bars.

Solid on its plinth

03

Solid on its plinth

Instead of legs, the cabinet rests on a slightly recessed plinth, so it sits solidly and squarely against the wall and leaves no gap underneath to dust.

The flat top has softly rounded edges and room for a table lamp, a stack of books and a glass of water within easy reach.
