The problem

A bedside table that looks like every other one

What it changes for you

Most bedside tables are a plain box with a knob. This one is two curved walnut-tone blocks stacked with a shadow gap between them, so it reads as a piece of design while still holding everything you need at night in two drawers.

Perfect for…

  • Bedrooms that need one standout piece
  • Dark wood, walnut and warm modern interiors
  • Anyone who wants storage without visible handles
  • Matching pairs on both sides of a double bed
Curved fronts, hidden handles

01

Curved fronts, hidden handles

Each drawer front bulges gently and curves round into the sides, with the handle hidden from view so the grain runs unbroken.

Run your hand along it: no knob, no edge, just smooth walnut-tone wood from one side to the other. The deep walnut tone looks warmest in the evening, when a lamp lights up the grain.

Two blocks, one shadow line

02

Two blocks, one shadow line

A narrow recessed gap between the two drawers creates a dark shadow line, and the upper block seems to float above the lower one.

The same trick at the base lifts the whole cabinet off the floor visually, without legs to catch dust. The result looks lighter than a solid cabinet, even though it holds two full drawers.

A statement beside the bed

03

A statement beside the bed

Its sculpted shape makes it the piece people notice in the bedroom, especially under a warm lamp in the evening.

It still does the job: two drawers keep the bedside clear, and the flat top holds a lamp and a book. Under a ceramic lamp with linen bedding, it gives a bedroom the calm look of a boutique hotel.
