The problem

A bedroom that looks like everyone else's

What it changes for you

Most bedside tables are plain on purpose, and the room ends up looking like a catalogue page. This one brings a pattern: two drawer fronts covered in a black and ivory floral toile, framed in black and lifted on turned bun feet. It adds character at once, and still gives you two full drawers for the night-time clutter.

Perfect for…

  • French, vintage and eclectic bedrooms
  • Black and white or monochrome schemes
  • Beds with a mattress top around 43 to 53 cm from the floor
  • Anyone who wants a statement piece with real storage
Drawers dressed in floral toile

01

Drawers dressed in floral toile

Both drawer fronts are covered in a black and ivory floral toile, the pattern running from one drawer to the next like a single picture framed in black.

A round black knob sits at the centre of each drawer, easy to find and to grip even with the light off. The ivory ground keeps the pattern light, so it never feels heavy in a bedroom.

Turned bun feet, French vintage style

02

Turned bun feet, French vintage style

Four turned bun feet in black lift the cabinet off the floor and give it the look of an antique chest, without its fragility.

The raised base keeps the piece light on the floor and lets you clean underneath around the feet without moving it. Black on black, the feet tie in with the frame and the knobs for a complete look.

Two drawers that open fully

03

Two drawers that open fully

The drawers slide on metal runners and open right out, so you can reach the back: charger and glasses at the top, books and spare bedding bits below.

At 45 x 40 x 48 cm, it suits a double or king-size bed. Measure your space before ordering. A lamp and a book fit on the flat black top, with room left for a glass of water.
