The problem

Sharp corners at shin height

What it changes for you

Getting up in the dark and catching a square corner is a familiar bedside hazard. This cabinet is built around a thick frame with large rounded corners, so there is no sharp edge at all. Inside it, two handle-free drawers with rounded fronts keep the night clutter out of sight, and short round feet lift it just clear of the floor.

Perfect for…

  • Soft, modern and minimal bedrooms
  • Anyone who wants no sharp corners beside the bed
  • Cream, beige and warm white colour schemes
  • Matching pairs either side of a double bed
No sharp corners anywhere

01

No sharp corners anywhere

The thick outer frame curves at every corner, so there is no hard edge to catch a knee or a hip when you get up in the night. It is a gentle shape for a busy bedroom.

The rounded outline also softens the room next to an upholstered bed or a padded headboard. A good choice for a child's room or a guest room too.

Two rounded, handle-free drawers

02

Two rounded, handle-free drawers

The two drawers sit inside the frame with softly rounded fronts and no knobs, so the cabinet reads as one clean, calm shape from across the room.

The top drawer keeps a charger and glasses close; the lower one takes books, a tablet and the bigger bits. Both drawers run the full width of the frame.

Lifted on round feet

03

Lifted on round feet

Short round feet raise the cabinet slightly, so it looks lighter and does not sit heavily on a rug or a carpet. It also makes the floor underneath easier to clean.

The smooth cream finish pairs easily with linen, oatmeal and warm white for a calm bedside. Two side by side frame a double bed with a soft, calm look.
