The problem

Books with nowhere to go at night

What it changes for you

The book you are reading, the next one, your glasses and a box of tissues rarely fit on a small top. This bedside table gives them an open shelf about 13 cm high, plus a drawer below for everything you would rather not see, so the top stays free for a lamp and a cup.

Perfect for…

  • Readers who keep a few books by the bed
  • Light, natural and Japandi bedrooms
  • Anyone who wants both open and closed storage
  • Rooms with oak floors or a wooden bed
An open shelf for your books

01

An open shelf for your books

The open shelf is about 13 cm high: room for a stack of books, a glasses case or a small box of tissues, always within easy reach without opening anything at night.

The drawer below keeps chargers, medicines and hand cream neatly out of sight, so the shelf and top stay tidy, calm and clear.

Rounded side panels

02

Rounded side panels

Two solid side panels with softly rounded edges carry the whole piece and run down to the floor, giving it a sturdy, sculpted look in a calm bedroom.

The open gap under the drawer keeps the table visually light and open in a small room, and a vacuum head slides underneath without moving it at all.

Light oak for bright rooms

03

Light oak for bright rooms

The light oak tone shows a soft, even and natural grain that brightens a bedroom of white walls, linen bedding and wooden floors in a natural or Japandi style.

Wipe it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and use a coaster under hot or wet items to keep the finish looking its best for years to come.
