The problem

Handles that catch the duvet

What it changes for you

Knobs and bar handles stick out exactly where your hand, your sleeve or the edge of the duvet passes in the dark. This cabinet has none: a single recessed slot runs across the front, so the drawers open with a fingertip and the glossy surface stays smooth and easy to wipe.

Perfect for…

  • Modern bedrooms in white, grey and black
  • Small rooms that need a compact cabinet
  • Anyone who wants a smooth front without knobs
  • A matching pair either side of a double bed
One slot, no knobs

01

One slot, no knobs

A single long slot is recessed into the front, so both drawers open with a fingertip and nothing sticks out.

No knob catches your hand, your sleeve or the edge of the duvet when you reach for your phone in the dark, and the front stays smooth and quick to wipe clean with a damp cloth.

White gloss, black top

02

White gloss, black top

The glossy white fronts reflect the lamp light, and the thin black top draws a crisp line around them, a contrast that suits modern bedrooms.

A recessed black plinth sets the body back from the floor, so the cabinet looks lighter than its compact 40 cm square shape suggests, even in a small bedroom.

Compact at 45 cm high

03

Compact at 45 cm high

At 40 cm wide and 41 cm deep it fits beside most double beds without crowding a small room, with room on top for a lamp and a book.

Its 45 cm height suits lower beds and platform frames. Aim for a top within about 5 cm of your mattress, and measure before ordering, measuring from the floor to the top of the mattress.
