The two-part black arm pivots at the wall plate and in the middle, bringing the round top up to 46 cm out, over the edge of the mattress, for a book, a tablet or a cup of tea in bed.

When you are done, push it back: the arm folds and the top sits about 10 cm from the wall, out of the way, ready for the next night.

There are no legs and no base: the table is held entirely by its screwed wall plate, so it fits gaps beside the bed that are too narrow for even the slimmest cabinet.

The floor underneath stays completely clear, so a small room feels more open and a vacuum passes straight under it, and nothing gets in the way of your feet.

The round top is 30 cm across, enough for a phone, a glass of water and a pair of glasses, and its raised rim stops small things rolling off the edge at night.

Fix it level with the top of your mattress, using screws and plugs suited to your wall, solid brick or plasterboard, and check it is level before use.
